About Me
I have been writing most of my life, but I never wanted to “be” a “writer.” I definitely never planned to be a Christian author. It just kinda happened. I wrote blogs before they were called blogs - We called them diaries and journals back then.

A Love for Words
I think my love of writing began with my love of words. As a small child, I could not wait to start going to school because I wanted to learn to read! I was fascinated by the stories adults could tell me simply by looking at those black symbols on the page. A wise and loving grandparent gifted me with a child’s picture dictionary in kindergarten and my passion began.
Growing up, I was blessed to see much of our great country by car. The long hours of travel gave me time both to appreciate the beauty of God’s creation and to read! I enjoyed fiction, mysteries, and autobiographies. Being brought to tears by reading “Charlotte’s Web” while confined in the back seat with my brothers was perhaps my first lesson in emotional self- management.
A Love for God’s Word

I have read many books, but the Bible is my favorite. It has it all – history, mystery, romance, murder, action, and intrigue – and it is all true. Much more than the fiction of “The Greatest Story Ever Told”, the personal development and spiritual growth it imparts has transformed me into the person I am today. I needed an instruction manual for life, and the Bible is mine.

I think the Bible is a marvel, and the most important book ever given to mankind. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, God has revealed Himself through words on a page. I have spent thousands of hours reading and studying God’s Word, and I have learned many exciting things that I try to share in my writing.

A Passion for Healing

My passion for healing happened completely by accident – literally. Following an accident, a loved one was in severe pain physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Modern medicine could only do so much to help, and my feelings of powerlessness fueled a quest for an effective alternative. At that time my desire was only to help that one person get well. I had no idea it would begin a long, jumbled journey to help everyone learn what God says about healing.

Jesus is the “Bee’s Knees”

I am a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend to many brilliantly wonderful people. As much as I love these people and value our relationships, nothing compares to the relationship I have with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. He is my all in all, and I can talk a blue streak about how awesome He is. I can’t help it. Through His Word, my heart has been set ablaze, and I hope to catch the world on fire.
