Our ability to have hope is tied to our ability to trust. Several words that were translated as “hope” actually mean to go for refuge, to trust, be confident or sure. When we take refuge in God’s promises we must trust Him to do what He says. Our hope comes from being confident and sure that God will deliver. Bind yourself to God, be patient, and trust Him!
